About Dr. Arroyo

With years of experience in the field, I have worked extensively with individuals facing trauma, anxiety, and neurodevelopmental challenges. During my postdoctoral training in Hartford, Connecticut, I specialized in providing care for survivors of sexual abuse and other forms of trauma. I have also received training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), approaches that help individuals navigate their emotions, find resilience, and move toward a life guided by their values.Beyond my clinical work, I have traveled to different countries on mission trips, providing psychological support and care to underserved communities. These experiences have reinforced my belief that healing is deeply connected to living a life aligned with purpose and meaning.
